DESCRIPTION:
The €UROTESTER PEN is a special felt tipped pen that contains a patented chemical solution able to detect banknotes suspect of being counterfeited. The €urotesterpen is entirely manufactured in Italy.
STANDARD MODEL:
"DB 158 Status SQ Eurotester Pen", Dobell S.p.A.; body color grey, cap color black; trademark "€urotesterpen" black with horizontal red band, with mention of EP N. 0.708.947 red; about 4 grams of chemical solution inside.
FEATURES:
QUICK: Provides results in few seconds.
PORTABLES: Small-sized device, which is easy to carry and store.
ECONOMICAL: It can test up to 6,000 bills (general formula), 1 cm. mark per bill.
SAFE: Environmentally friendly, it meets environmental standards as its formula does not contain toxic or harmful chemicals. All components and parts are recyclable.
LEGAL TO USE: Because it does not leave marks on genuine banknotes and therefore it does not deface the bills.
EFFECTIVE: High reliability/ selectivity due to the chemical reaction of the solution with the impurities of the paper.
TESTER SOLUTION:The general formula is highly resistant to air and heat and is able to test EURO, U.S. Dollar and all main world currency banknotes - Canadian Dollar excluded.
USE:
Make a line (approx. 1 cm. length) on any part of the banknote to be tested.
The bill is good if the mark is colourless and its evaporation takes place within 5-15 seconds at 20°C.
The bill is suspect of being counterfeited in any of the following cases :
a) the trace is stained (lilac, violet, sky blue, blue navy, amber, light brown, dark brown or black);
b) the mark is colourless and its evaporation takes place immediately at 20°C/68°F;
c) the mark remains colourless and wet for more than 20 seconds (at 20°C/68°F).
CAUTION:
1. Replace cap after using the €urotesterpen.
2. The €urotesterpen should not be left exposed to direct or indirect sources of heat.
