2. Advantages and special features of the €urotesterpen
There are several advantages of the €uroTester chemical solution (Prof. Pier Giorgio Pifferi's patent N. EP 0.708.947 and others) as follows:
a. First of all, it offers better selectivity, the capability to detect the counterfeiting
of currencies without leaving any permanent trace of color on the genuine banknotes (i.e., effective & legal to use).
As a matter of fact, these permanent traces left on genuine currencies by other testers can mislead the user, who cannot rely on the
effectiveness of the test. This selectivity is the result of an innovative selection and combination of solvents.
b. Secondly, the highest reliability of the chemical formula. The pen detects counterfeiting not only in leaving a stained mark, but also a wet trace for more than 20 seconds at 20°C / 68°F (i.e., a more selective and sophisticated kind of testing). The formula is stable and can be used to test various substances present in the ink and paper of counterfeited banknotes. In addition, it also resists mean temperature for quite a long time.
c. Third, a specific formula of the chemical solution is available for Canadian currencies (i.e. possibility of "personalization").

Prof. Pier Giorgio Pifferi, inventor of the chemical formula, is the director of the Research and Development Department of our company. Therefore, he is able to closely track all development on counterfeit currencies both by balancing the components of the chemical formula in order to maintain reliability and by innovating the test chemical solution.
