For proper testing and in order to take advantage of all the technical potential of the chemical solution please follow the steps mentioned below; note that room temperature (20°C/68°F) conditions are assumed.
The €urotesterpen reacts to the chemical impurities present in the paper of the counterfeited banknotes, while it does not react with the paper of genuine banknotes; we refer to the special paper ordinarily used in the minting process of different countries.
1. Before usage, verify the correct functioning of the tester by tracing a mark of 1-2 cm. on a sheet of paper (for writing or photocopies): the trace will be violet or lilac coloured.

2. Make a line on any part of the banknote to be tested (best if on a non-colored area) at least 1 cm. in length.
3. THE BILL IS GOOD if the mark is colourless and its evaporation takes place within 5-15 seconds at 20°C/68°F.

4. THE BILL IS SUSPECT OF BEING COUNTERFEITED IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CASES:
· the trace is immediately colour stained (lilac, violet, sky blue, blue navy, amber, light brown, dark brown or black);
· the mark is wet and colourless for more than 20 seconds at 20°C;
· the mark is colourless, wet and visible only for 1-2 seconds at 20°C (i.e. if it evaporates immediately while tracing).

5. For long durability of the product: replace cap after using the €urotesterpen and do not leave it exposed to direct or indirect sources of heat.
